Something we haven't thought of? Let's talk.
You keep 100% of interchange.
Our sponsorship fee is what it costs to run under our bank sponsorship and our registrations with Visa, Mastercard, STAR, Pulse, NYCE, Accel, AFFN, Culiance and Shazam.
Being an ISO means paying for all of that yourself. This is the version where you don't.

Free NFC upgrades
Contactless is how a machine stays relevant to customers who stopped carrying cards. Kits run $300 to $400 each if you buy them yourself — board five machines with us and we'll cover one.
Every eight machines after that earns another kit. Locations running NFC have seen up to around 20% more transactions, depending on the market.
From the founder
I came into this business from software, not from ATMs.
What struck me was how much it looked like industries I'd already watched change. Phone companies sold you minutes until they sold you unlimited. Adobe sold boxes of software until it sold subscriptions. In both cases the incumbents were doing fine — right up until they weren't.
ATM processing never made that turn. Rates you have to call to find out. Compliance packets moving at the speed of a fax. Portals built a decade ago and left alone. Meanwhile the transaction counts drift down a little every year and nobody seems especially bothered by it.
I don't think that's inevitable. Most of what makes this business tedious is solvable with software that already exists. Making software actually serve the person using it is the part I know how to do.
I'm new to ATMs — which is why I have a partner with twenty years in them, and why every rate we charge is on this page instead of behind a phone call.

We publish our pricing. Every rate, on this page.
We don't run our own machines. We will never compete with you for a location.
We answer our own support email. Not a queue, not a script.

What operators ask
Who is PayTree?
An ISO for independent ATM operators — registered with Visa, Mastercard and the major EFT networks, sponsored by our sponsor bank, and a member of ATMIA and the National ATM Council. We're also new. Our team has twenty years in the ATM business, but PayTree itself is young. That's part of why we publish every rate on this site instead of asking you to take our word for it.
Do you compete with me for locations?
No. We're selling our own ATM portfolio to become purely an ISO. Most companies in this space run machines alongside yours, which means the locations they sign are locations you didn't. We'd rather your growth be the only growth we're paid on.
Why is your pricing lower than what I'm paying now?
Because it's published. Drive rates in this industry run as high as $0.12 per transaction, and a lot of that spread survives because nobody has to defend a number they never show. Ours is on the page. Our subscription plans go further — they replace the per-transaction drive rate with a flat monthly fee, so that part of your bill stops growing when your volume does.
What does switching actually involve?
You sign the agreement, then add your machines to the platform. Each terminal needs to be reprogrammed on site — about fifteen minutes per machine — and nothing goes offline while it happens. If you're moving a large fleet, we can send someone out to handle the reprogramming for you.
What happens when a machine goes down?
Start with our free ATM support — it's open to any operator, whether you process with us or not. If it can't solve the problem, email us and a person replies; you won't be routed through a queue. Technical escalation is available around the clock through our processing partner.

We'll carry the rest.
